Miss Ann has been at a teacher at the Ridgefield Montessori School since 2001. She is a fully accredited Montessori teacher in the Infant & Toddler program receiving her accreditation from CMTE/NY. She also holds a degree from Lehman College. Prior to joining RMS, Miss Ann taught art at the elementary school level in New York for four years. Miss Ann has lived in Ridgefield 11 years with her husband. She has a son who is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and is a chef in Boston and a son who has his Masters degree in Accounting/Business Practices from the University of Connecticut and is a licensed CPA in Connecticut.
Georgia SoaresHead Teacher | CMTE Trainer
Miss Georgia has been at Ridgefield Montessori School since 2006. Miss Georgia is a fully accredited Montessori teacher in Early Childhood. She received her accreditation from CMTE/NY and holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of New Rochelle. In addition, Miss Georgia holds a degree in journalism from Pontificia Universidade Catolica in Brazil. She has lived in Ridgefield for 17 years with her husband and her son who is a graduate of Ridgefield High School and is pursuing his interests in music and art.
Miss Debbie has been a teacher at RMS since 2010. She has been a Head Teacher in our Infant/Toddler Program for 3 years. She received her Infant/Toddler accreditation from CMTE/NY. She also holds a BSN from the College of Mount St. Vincent and has worked as a registered nurse at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Columbia Hospital in NYC. A Ridgefield resident for 26 years, she has held numerous volunteer positions including Branchville Elementary PTA President, Special Education PTA President, Diversity/Differences Day founder and is a founding member of the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation. She lives in Ridgefield with her husband and three of her four children. Her oldest daughter is a Special Education teacher in Boston. She has a daughter who works at The Prospector Theater, a son at Villanova University and a daughter who is in 7th grade at ERMS. Miss Debbie enjoys working in her garden, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
Miss Lisa provides a bi-monthly program that includes movement, rhythm and singing. The program also includes international and musical styles. Miss Lisa brings in many different instruments to play for the students which includes both acoustic and electric guitars.

Mr. K shares his unique African Drum Program. His West African culture, traditions and folklore are introduced through music, song, and dance. Mr. K provides a monthly program for all students in which they learn rhythm and beat by playing the beautiful drums that he creates. This is a very special program offered to our students at RMS.
