Miss Cathy grew up in Ridgefield. She graduated from Ridgefield High School and attended Western Connecticut State University. Miss Cathy started the Ridgefield Montessori School in 1999 when she was looking for a pre-school for her son. She has since had two children complete and graduate from the Ridgefield Montessori School. Several years ago Miss Cathy started the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation in memory of her daughter. This foundation provides support and financial help to families of children with special needs. Miss Cathy lives in Ridgefield with her husband and two of her three children: a son who attending Auburn University and a member of the first graduating class from RMS; and her youngest daughter who is also a graduate of RMS and attends Ridgefield High School. Miss Cathy’s oldest daughter is a trained Infant/Toddler Montessori teacher and lives in New York City.

Miss Lisa joined the Ridgefield Montessori School in 2015 as an Assistant Teacher in the Toddler classroom and is now serving as Assistant Director. Miss Lisa received her Bachelors in Communications, from Iona College.

Miss Lisa, a Ridgefield native, has been living overseas for the past 17 years on three continents in six different countries with her Diplomat husband. She is happy to be back living in Ridgefield and raising her four children, a daughter who is 14 years old and three sons ages 7, 9 and 11 years old.

During her time away, Miss Lisa worked with children volunteering in various capacities at the American Schools and with children in an orphanage in Africa. She continues her volunteering efforts and is a member of the National Charity League along with her daughter and is a committee member with the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation.
